Broccoli

While this vegetable may not be everyone’s favourite, broccoli is a highly alkalizing vegetable and is rich in magnesium, calcium, vitamin K and folate, all of which contribute toward the strengthening of the bones. The vitamin C content also improves the body’s ability to absorb calcium faster.

Spinach
After milk, spinach is one of the best means to give your body its essential dose of calcium. Spinach is rich in calcium, fibre, iron and vitamin A and eating even one cup of cooked spinach, will satisfy your necessary daily intake of these nutrients.
