Jan 2019

Psoriatic arthritis is an autoimmune inflammatory disorder which causes scaly red patches on your scalp and skin. This skin disorder can affect joints such as ligaments; tendons and tissue are known as fascia which enfolds muscles.

Factors which trigger psoriatic arthritis are:

•    Injury to the Skin
Skin injury is closely linked with psoriasis. For instance, a skin inflammation, excess scratching or a skin infection can also lead to psoriasis.

•    Smoking
Cigarette smokers are at higher risk of getting psoriatic arthritis.

•    Emotional Stress
Stress is one of the major causes of psoriatic arthritis so make sure you keep stress at bay with regular exercise and proper sleep.
