Allergy is defined as the body's immune system overreacting to normally harmless substances.

A pregnant woman with previous history of allergies may show changes in the way she responds to the same aggravating factors. Generally speaking, most pregnant women actually report improvement in their allergic response, but this is not the rule nor is it predictable. Some women do show increased allergic tendencies.

However, there are certain rashes that occur only during pregnancy. Let us get to know about some of these.
